According to TCMagazine, BFG are now selling new GeForce8800GTS base on G80 graphic core. The new card will add in 16 SP(make it to 112 SP) and raise the frequency from 500/1200/1600MHz(Core/Shader/Memory) to 565/1300/1700MHz(Core/Shader/Memory). The name is GeForce 8800 GTS EE (Extreme Edition) OC, have 640MB 320bit GDDR3 and price is 499USD.

And EVGA already got their new GTS. Please notice that they are all 640MB version,.With the new version coming out, it is not hard to understand why the 8800GTS will still have their place in the winter line-up map.

The frequencies of eVGA 8800GTS 128SP SSC are same as standard 8800GTX, all up to 576/1350/1800MHz. through the frequencies are not higher than 8800GT, but the 320bit memory interface let the memory have 72GB/s bandwidth, more higher than the 57.6GB/s 8800GT memory bandwidth.That's why they all got 112SP,but eVGA 8800GTS SSC have better performance.

It must stress that those new version of 6408800 GTS still based on G80,not rumoured G92. They just upgrade the SP from 96 to 112. From the new 8800GTS pic we can prove that: the new G92 already integrate NVIO chip into the GPU. the old version stock cooler will not fit G92 anymore.

Then what about the new G92 version 8800GTS? Of course the G92 version 8800GTS still have 256bit memory interface, so they got 512MB and 1024MB two version. The date and the MSRP will be Dec. 3 and 2299CNY ( 308USD ) .

　　根据TCMagazine的消息，北美厂商BFG将推出基于G80核心的新版GeForce8800GTS，除了频率从过去的500/1200/1600MHz(Core/Shader/Memory)提高到565/1300/1700MHz(Core/Shader/Memory)，对效能影响较大的流处理器数量也从过去的96个增加至112SP，这个数量和新近发布的8800GT相同。它的型号是GeForce 8800 GTS EE (Extreme Edition) OC，显存为640MB 320bit GDDR3，售价竟高达499美元。

　　另外一家北美厂商eVGA也同样推出了类似的新型GTS，注意它们均是640MB的产品，这也就不难理解为啥NVIDIA GeForce8800 Line-Up路线图中8800GTS 640MB是平稳过渡的。不过，eVGA在官方网站上并没有直接标出GTS系列的112个流处理器，而是用“96+”的形式表示。

　　国外硬件网站的hardwarecanucks.com在今天贴出了最高端的SSC版本的测试报告，其中就有放出Rivatuner截图和Crysis的测试成绩。

　　eVGA 8800GTS 128SP SSC的频率和标准的8800GTX频率相同，核心、Shader和显存频率分别提高到576/1350/1800MHz。虽然频率不如8800GT高，但是320bit的显存位宽让SSC显卡的显存带宽达72GB/s，比8800GT的57.6GB/s高得多。因此同样是112SP，eVGA 8800GTS SSC显卡的效能要更高一些。

　　需要强调的是，这些新版的640MB 8800GTS还是基于G80核心，而非传闻所说的G92核心，只是流处理器数量从原来的96个增加到112个。这点通过新版8800GTS显卡的实物图也可以证明：全新的G92图形核心已经整合G80原先分离的NVIO芯片，原来的散热器，显存位宽技术等规格不再适用。

　　那么112SP的8800GTS 640MB新版会引入吗？除了刚上市的8800GT，我们知道原来的8800系列显卡已经不多见了。经询问，业界人士认为新款8800GTS 640MB的成本依然偏高，零售价将维持在接近原来的价位。面对8800GT的较高性价比，生存空间有限，这也是为何北美两家厂商都主推8800GTS 640MB超频版。

　　那么G92核心的新版8800GTS呢？我们之前的新闻已经提过拥有128个流处理器的新版8800GTS在11月19日发布，建议零售价在2299元。根据有关人士透露，基于G92核心的新版8800GTS的显存位宽依然是256bit，显存容量将有512MB和1024MB两种规格，而发布时间延迟至12月3日。

　　我们知道，新版G92-8800GTS将完全更改现时高端8800GTX/Ultra所处的市场位置，这一切都会在12月3日得到答案。当然，此时我们对11月15日发布的AMD HD3800系列显卡已经不再陌生。
