在首发评测的时候,我们也观察到Turing显卡在待机情况下,功耗会比Pascal显卡更高一些,当时我们归咎于晶体管数量增加引起的,毕竟多了Tensor Core、RT Core这样的硬流水线单元。但NVIDIA出了一版411.70驱动就马上给了我们一巴掌,待机功耗有明显下降。
刚好我们昨天测量两张“非公版”RTX 2080 Ti、RTX 2080的功耗,用的是旧驱动411.63跑的功耗成绩,刚好可以装个411.70新驱动对比一下。结果如表格所示,测量方法依旧,待机就是进入系统后待驱动稳定后测量,1分钟就够了,变化不大,仪器是我们独家所有,可以检测PCI-E、外接供电取电电压、电流大小,配合软件监控,可以精准到小数点后3位,不过意义不大就展示1位。

通过GPU-Z观察,发现GPU频率都是维持在300MHz不变,但GDDR6显存由原来的202.5MHz(非等效)下降到101.3MHz,其余变化也不大。再测量满载功耗时发现功耗变动不大,可以说几乎没有改变。可以确认新驱动只是改进了待机功耗,满载依然不变。
